Mission Report 07 January 2017 (Nationals)

Okay, this blog was pretty much dead before it got off the ground.
I know there are probably 2-3 people who actually read this thing.
That's okay, because one of them is someone (wink, wink) who should be really proud of Diane and what she has accomplished this year, of how tenacious she is, how hard she works, and frankly her accumulated skills and knowledge from years of racing. This was the first year in a long time that was relatively injury free for her. I am so proud. I won't play junior psychologist, but just hope that maybe someone (wink, wink) will read this, look past their own issues and offer up a  congratulatory call.... I can hope right?

here's what I have posted in some other places and some pictures too...

Thank you to everyone who has supported Diane this year. Monk had a solid race today and left it all out on the course. She told me it was the toughest course/conditions she has raced. Diane came into cross season this year with 3 goals:
1.Make a podium (she made 4)
2. State Championship (she got 2nd)
3. Top 20 at Nationals (she finished 18th TODAY!) as we sit in the hotel room, we are both exhausted. It’s been a hell of season. I couldn’t be prouder. Thanks again... thanks to all the MidAtlantic brotherhood and sisterhood... thanks to our Deluxx teammates, and all of the Vanderbacon Family picnic... so stoked... so exhausted

This Week's Specials..

I am fortunate enough to live in an area that offers a variety of skateparks close to my home. The parks are an amazing buffet of choices...
