Mission Report 25 November 2016

The Movin' for Mallory Spinathon takes place at Henry's Bicycle Shop in Newark, DE and is a 24 hour event that starts each year at 10am on the day after Thanksgiving. Riders are asked to raise funds to benefit University of Pennsylvania's Center for Orphan Disease Research and Therapy, specifically their research for Cystic Fibrosis.

I have been super lucky to be able to participate in this event for a number of years. This year my focus may have not been as much on the bike and while for our hour our Team Leader Dave Schindler had a program of fun music and intervals, I was spinning consistently and practicing my beer feeds. It was a super fun event and if you feel like make a donation, you could do so here.

Cheers to Matt and Katrina and their entire team for heading this up!

yup- that's some suffering for sure.

Schindler on point...

Staying hydrated during these events is important.
I'm hoping if I continue to be in team kit -  I won't get kicked off the team!
