Mission Report 15 October 2016

Glasgow Skatepark, DE

I have come to find great satisfaction in the sound of my wheels sliding and barking across concrete. Not sure I can fully explain that at this point but every time it brings a smile to my face.....

Leaving the park Saturday morning, I saw a guy shooting baskets by himself. As I am driving past I watch him heave one from just beyond half court. "SWISH!" I heard the net as the ball went through easily. The basketball player, who I surmise is my age, thrust his hands up in the air in victory. I pulled the car over, rolled down the window and yelled to the man. "that was outstanding!" The Basketball player smiled a Cheshire cat grin and said, "thanks, I can't believe I made that!" I waved as I drove away thinking, "man, you have no idea..."

turn up the sound to fully enjoy the barking of my wheels across the concrete...

Monk pushed the edge a little hard this weekend and came down with a cold.
No racing this week just resting...
Experimenting with 2 different cameras this weekend : the powershot and the go pro....
Got to the park a little before sunrise... the impact of the sun and the light on the two cameras was  cool... been fun figuring this out...
